Housing Connector x Zillow

Winner of Zillow’s Hackathon, Housing Connector was a project aimed at improving access to affordable housing for individuals exiting homelessness. Despite design limitations and compromises due to integration with Zillow's existing architecture and third-party nonprofit partners, we successfully created a tool connecting property owners with those in need of housing. This tool has already enabled over 800 families and individuals to find stable housing since its launch in July 2020, contributing to the City of Seattle's goal of reducing vacant units while helping people in need.
